About the Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of assigned account(s) ensuring the successful execution of marketing initiatives and the delivery of exceptional service.  This role is responsible for achieving commercial targets, delivering new from existing client growth, and ensuring executional excellence in collaboration with colleagues across support functions.  Inspiring and exciting our clients and delivering on key commercial principles for clients and adm is paramount.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as primary point of contact for all account-related matters for your clients. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor.
  • Deliver best in class service to our clients, understand clients’ brands, business objectives, and industry dynamics to develop strategies and solutions that drive business growth.
  • Drive client sales, ensuring that profit budgets are exceeded and that all costs related to your team orders are strictly controlled.
Project Coordination and Execution:
  • Oversee and own the E2E sale process for your client, from initial brief through to quotes, proof approvals, quality standards to successful delivery of all items.
  • Produce accurate customer quotations, quality samples, and artwork for proposals. Diligently follow-up on all quotations distributed to generate orders.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, identifying resource requirements and managing project scope, risks, and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or challenges within agreed SLAs.
  • Coordinate effectively and collaboratively with all internal teams and external partners ensuring all signoffs and deadlines are met in accordance with critical timelines.
  • Execute our Sustainability agenda and achieve key metrics concerning GHG emissions, water consumption, recyclability, and more.
Brief Development and Review:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, brand guidelines, and campaign objectives, translating them into clear and actionable briefs for internal teams.
  • Review and provide feedback on creative concepts and samples ensuring they align with client expectations, brand standards, and project requirements.
Campaign Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for clients, summarizing project outcomes, key insights, and providing strategic recommendations for future planning and optimization.
  • Analyze management information, financial, and sales reports to ensure achievement of objectives and budget.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years account management experience with an international company. Detailed knowledge of the promotions and premium industry. Experience working with multi-national companies on a direct basis.
  • Extensive experience in engaging and influencing cross functionally, particularly across multiple client marketing / brand teams and procurement teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills; proficient in excel, word and PowerPoint.
  • Problem solving and the ability to identify and clearly present solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing client POS solutions, outsourcing and experience with beers / spirits CP&G would be of advantage.
